Miami, FL (March 27, 2026) – Latin GRAMMY® nominee Manu Manzo is back with a bold, cinematic statement in her latest single “Doral. Presented by Tequila Don Julio, the music video immerses viewers in a visually stunning world where nostalgia, nightlife, Tequila Don Julio cocktails, and Latin soul collide, offering a glimpse into the duality at the heart of Manu’s artistry, the party girl and the showgirl, moving fluidly between freedom and performance, chaos and control.
Shot in Mexico City and directed by Latin GRAMMY-winning director Camila Grandi, “Doral” is a love letter to the Miami suburb that shaped her, revisiting the formative nights and experiences that defined her early artistry. Drawing inspiration from 70s and 90s diva aesthetics, the visual merges Old Hollywood glamour with Latin nightlife culture. Every frame bursts with cinematic detail, choreographed dancers, stylish background extras, and a film-set energy that evokes the elegance of The Supremes reimagined for a modern Latin soul stage.
“‘Doral’ is a return to my roots, to the Miami nights and the energy that first inspired me,” Manu shares. “This video brings together all sides of me, playful, confident, sensual, and cinematic, while celebrating the music, stories, and experiences that shaped who I am today.”
The release of “Doral” also ushers in the era of Manuela, Manu Manzo’s self-titled album, arriving this May. Described as the album of her life, Manuela is a journey through the moments that defined her as an artist, told from the intimate perspective of having lived them. Drawing on her classical training, musical origins, and influences from legends like Diana Ross and The Supremes, the album features an orchestral, instrument-driven sound that elevates storytelling to its highest form. Manu also weaves in elements of her Arabic roots, embedding the DNA of her personal and cultural narratives throughout the project.
Manu Manzo first gained recognition as a Latin GRAMMY®-nominated independent artist, earning a Best New Artist nomination in 2015 for her debut EP Como Soy. Since then, she has continued to build her career with releases including Intermedio (2018), Después De Las 12 (2019), Luna en Géminis (2023), and Luna en Géminis II (2025). Her music has led her to perform on major stages such as Viña del Mar, SXSW, and III Points Festival, as well as singing the U.S. National Anthem at NFL and NASCAR Playoffs.
Manuela is more than an album; it is a chronicle of her career and life, a masterclass in prodigy-level storytelling that revisits her origins, celebrates her growth, and marks a confident, personal, and unmistakably cinematic new chapter. From intimate reflections to bold, expressive performances, the album is poised to become one of the defining Latin music releases of 2026.
