Miami, Florida (March 27, 2026) – After achieving the incredible feat of reaching number one, for the second consecutive week, on Dominican radio prior to its official release, Elvis Crespo’s new single, “Abeja Blanca 2.0,” has finally arrived on all digital platforms.
This revamped version of “Abeja Blanca,” originally featured on Elvis Crespo’s album Poeta Herío (Colmadito Special Edition), was sparked by its viral traction on TikTok, where it quickly became a fan-driven trend with 24K UGCs generated across the U.S., Spain and Latin America. Building on the viral moment, alongside its No. 1 radio status in the Dominican Republic, Crespo enlisted Michael Flores to bring a youthful and engaging flair to the track, expanding its cultural impact and cross-generational reach.
Produced by Elvis Crespo, Luis A. Cruz, Nesty La Mente Maestra, Cauty, and Ender Thomas, the song employs the metaphor of the “white bee” as a central theme, blending storytelling with the essence of merengue.
“This new version of Abeja Blanca 2.0 with Michael Flores helps me connect with a younger audience and introduce them to my music. I’m thrilled about the video release and the fresh energy Michael brings to it,” Crespo said. “Being part of this track is more than just an honor, it’s a dream come true. He’s a true legend, and the whole experience was incredible. I’m grateful to Elvis for believing in me and giving me this opportunity,” added Michael Flores.
Directed by Jesús Rondón, the music video for “Abeja Blanca 2.0” unfolds across Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, opening with a dramatic first act filmed at Apiturismo PR in Yauco. The story then transitions to “El Colmadito de Elvis,” filmed in Santo Domingo’s historic Zona Colonial, where local production teams were employed to bring the concept to life. The second portion was directed by Dominicans Maikel de la Cruz and Raul Antonio, who helped bring Elvis’ “colmadito” concept to life in 2025. The video had the participation of dozens of Dominicans fans and featured a special appearance by Grupo Atrévete, a Dominican ensemble of visually impaired musicians who are known and loved by fellow Dominicans.
Following months of major success and standout performances, Elvis Crespo continues to solidify his place as one of merengue’s most influential global artists, bringing his music and signature energy to new audiences and stages.
