Los Angeles, CA (September 3, 2026) – Fifteen years after one of the most important nights in singer Jenni Rivera’s career, her September 3, 2011 concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles will be released in its entirety under the title Mírame Desde Staples Center. The 45-song production is available now on all digital platforms, coinciding with the 15th anniversary of the performance.
The concert marked an important moment for both Rivera and Regional Mexican music, as she became the first female artist in the genre to sell out the Staples Center. Performing before a packed venue, the “Diva de la Banda” delivered one of the most notable performances of her career and reaffirmed the connection she had built with her audience.
The historic three-hour performance showcased Rivera’s extraordinary versatility as a live performer. She performed continuously for three hours, seamlessly rotating between banda, mariachi, and norteño, without using a single pre-recorded vocal track, delivering the entire performance live from start to finish. Two of the iconic outfits Rivera wore that night are now part of the permanent collection at the GRAMMY Museum, further preserving the visual and cultural legacy of this landmark performance.
“Jenni Rivera performing at the Staples Center is a historic moment for Regional Mexican music and one of the moments that truly showcases Jenni Rivera at the height of her artistry. It is Mexican identity in the U.S. at its fullest expression. It is a privilege for VMG to contribute to building Jenni Rivera’s legacy,” said Victor Gonzalez, EVP & President, LATAM, US Latin & Spain, Virgin Music Group.
Jenni Rivera’s daughter and CEO of Jenni Rivera Enterprises, Jacqie Rivera, shared: “Being able to release this Mírame Desde Staples Center project means so much to me. Not only as her daughter, I obviously feel incredibly proud that that woman was my mother, but also as an artist, she inspires me greatly.”
Speaking about the creative process, Rivera added: “…As a company, Jenni Rivera Enterprises, we want to give fans that experience: those who couldn’t be there, those who became fans after her passing, and we hope they can feel like they are part of it. Even though it’s been fifteen years, we want them to feel that energy, how she gave herself completely to her audience, how every song touched your heart, and that feeling of wanting to have a tequila. We want them to experience all of those emotions and feel as if she were still here with us. We hope fans receive it with lots of love, because that’s how she did it: with lots of love.”
Mírame Desde Staples Center captures that night in its entirety through 45 songs in both audio and video, offering a journey through the repertoire that accompanied Rivera during a key period in her career, including the focus track “Un Puño de Tierra.”
The performance also featured appearances by two renowned guest artists: Mexico’s Alejandra Guzmán and Puerto Rico’s Olga Tañón, who shared the stage with Rivera.
Nearly 14 years after the artist’s passing, the release offers an opportunity to revisit a concert that captures Jenni Rivera at one of the high points of her career. Her performance at the Staples Center also represented a significant milestone for Regional Mexican music at one of the premier venues in the United States.
Mírame Desde Staples Center is available now, exactly 15 years after the Los Angeles concert, offering a new opportunity to discover and revisit one of the most important performances of Jenni Rivera’s career.
