Miami, FL (October 27, 2025) – Billboard Latin Music Week, the most prestigious and longest-running event celebrating Latin music, returned to the historic Fillmore Miami Beach to once again serve as a dynamic platform honoring the soul of Latin music and culture. Over three days of exclusive panels, conversations, performances, and networking, the event brought together the biggest names in Latin music and the leading experts shaping the industry.
The week kicked off on Monday, October 20, with a vibrant day full of inspiring discussions. Programming began with The Power of Independence, presented by Platoon, where Lenny Tavárez, Pinky Mordan, Yan, and Yon MadMusick highlighted how independence allows artists to maintain creative control and authenticity. “The great thing about being independent is that no one tries to change the DNA of who you are or how you want to project yourself. Today, thanks to social media, we can show who we really are,” shared Tavárez.
The energy continued with BRESH & Zumba: Dancing to the Charts, featuring Atella from Zumba and Bröder from BRESH, who discussed how lifestyle brands drive cultural movements on a global scale. Then, during Let Your Music Speak Louder, presented by Rimas Publishing, Emilio Morales, King Savagge, Machael, and Michelle Maciel shared how to build deeper fan connections and gave a behind-the-scenes look into songwriting, production, performance, and the business of royalties.
Mexican superstar Carín León and his manager and partner Jorge Juárez joined Leila Cobo for The Power Duo, an intimate conversation on building a global brand and breaking both cultural and economic barriers. “They criticized me for being different and new, but we built a label and a personality by being ourselves,” said León, who also announced an upcoming country album.
Later, Breaking a New Artist, presented by SONAR, featured Matt Louis, Slow Jamz, and Siggy Vázquez sharing strategies for standing out in today’s competitive landscape. During The Influencer Effect, presented by L’Oréal, Karime Pindter, La Segura, Mario Ruiz, and Pao Ruiz, along with TikTok’s Gabo Llano, discussed how content creators have become central to music marketing.
One of the day’s most anticipated moments came during In Conversation with Anuel AA and DJ Khaled. “When I started in trap, I used to listen to Eminem and thought, if he can do it in English, I can do it in Spanish,” said Anuel AA. DJ Khaled added, “I’ve always loved Latinos. It’s a blessing to see my brother Anuel where he is now.”

Then, the Fillmore stage transformed into a live recording studio for Creating the Hit LIVE, where Pablo Alborán, Julio Reyes Copello, and Riza composed a song from scratch. “From Julio, I learned to never settle and to always seek emotion in what I do in the studio. Rarely do I feel as understood by a producer as I do with him,” shared Alborán.
The conversation expanded with The Globalization of Latin Music, where Interscope Records CEO John Janick said, “What’s key is that an artist has a vision—knowing who they are and where they want to go. We don’t want to be their bosses; we want to be their partners.” Nir Seroussi, Executive VP of Interscope Capitol, added, “Our strategy has always been to invest in talented artists, give them space to grow, and support them every step of the way.”
The Women’s Panel: Global Rising brought together rising stars Aitana, Ela Taubert, Silvana Estrada, Yailin, and Yami Safdie to discuss artistry, visibility, and empowerment. “I released an album that I produced, mixed, and directed the videos for, but there’s still a preconception that a man did it all… It’s important to shine a light on what women are doing at every stage of the creative process; we can all lift each other up,” said one of the panelists.
Then, Desde la Raíz, presented by Billboard Argentina and Billboard Colombia, featured icons Soledad and Silvestre Dangond, who explored how folklore connects generations and fuels creative reinvention.
