T1419 paid tribute to Daddy Yankee with their ‘Campeon’ Dance Cover.
Miami, FL. (July 7, 2022) – Multicultural K-Pop boy group T1419 returns with their highly anticipated new single “When the sun goes down”. The new track is the group’s first-ever Spanish single.
“When the sun goes down”, is a fusion of tropical, house and dance beats that come together to produce the perfect summer vibe. The song expresses the feeling of getting lost during sundown and setting reality aside, in order to wake up your inner sense in order to pursue your dreams. The track was written by Latin Grammy® nominee and Venezuelan singer-songwriter Manu Manzo alongside Daniel Gonzalez Sobrino.
“When the sun goes down”, is a performance dance video filmed in South Korea highlighting T1419’s impeccable and synchronized dance skills. Dance moves are complemented visually by the group’s wardrobe and visuals representing the cool and refreshing vibes of summer.
In 2021, T1419 began to gain international recognition among Latin American fans by interacting musically with top Latin artists such as Daddy Yankee, Maluma and Natti Natasha. As a result, their popularity in Latin America increased tremendously, leading to the official invitation as the first-ever Korean artist to perform at the ‘Monitor Music Awards 2021.
In May 2022, the group dropped a surprise dance cover of Daddy Yankee’s “Campeon”. Global icon Daddy Yankee and recognized rapper Lil’ Jon gave props to the group via social media for the cover. Thus far, their “Campeon” video has earned over 1 million YouTube views.
T1419 seeks to continue connecting to their Latin American fandom. With the release of “When the Sun goes down”, the group will set out on their first-ever Latin America promo tour, starting with Mexico City. Stay tuned for more from T1419!
