ROBI is set to light up the stage at Premios Juventud 2022, live from the Choliseo in Puerto Rico on July 21
The rising star also received his first nomination in the “New Generation – Male” category

(July 7, 2022) – After the instant success of the viral hit “Pantysito,” alongside Feid and Alejo, Puerto Rican artist to watch ROBI recruited Colombian urban artist Totoy ‘El Frio’ for his new single “Perro Negro” which was inspired by the famous Medellín club of the same name. Released under Interscope Records, the single and video are now available on all digital platforms.
This reggaeton-inspired track fuses both artists’ unique styles and sounds to produce a perfect summer club banger. The official music video was shot in Medellin’s Comuna 13, known as one of Colombia’s most iconic and culturally rich neighborhoods. The video showcases the comuna’s look and feel in a party-like ambience.
ROBI has quickly made a mark in Latin music through multiple collaborations that have allowed him to showcase his musical versatility. Earlier this year, he participated in “Pantysito,” a track that became an instant global viral hit, garnering 115 million streams on Spotify and over 40 million YouTube views. Most recently, the single was certified Gold in Spain and continues to set TikTok trends with nearly half a million user-generated videos.
In celebration of “Perro Negro,” ROBI will be part of Latin America’s most popular event series, FIESTA BRESH, in Barranquilla and Medellín in July. ROBI will bring the party to Medellin’s iconic club “Perro Negro” in honor of his track.
Recently, ROBI received his first nomination at Premios Juventud 2022 in the “New Generation – Male” category and was confirmed to perform at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in Puerto Rico on Thursday, July 21 at 7:00pm ET.
