Miami, FL. (June 6, 2022) – Viral K-Pop group MOMOLAND joins several other K-Pop groups as the Nominees for this year’s MTV Miaw awards.
MTV Latin America released the nominees for this year’s MIAW Awards. MOMOLAND is nominated for Dominio (Master) K-Pop. This is the first time that Momoland has been nominated for the MTV MIAW Awards. The Awards are set to return live in Mexico on July 9th.
Earlier this year, the group released their collaboration single “Yummy Yummy Love” with Dominican superstar Natti Natasha. Upon release “Yummy Yummy Love” trended in over 15 countries, including No. 1 in Japan, the Philippines, and South Korea, and Top 10 in Brazil, Mexico, and El Salvador. Currently, the music video has 35 Million Youtube views and counting.
More recently, Latin Grammy winner Christian Nodal expressed his interest in collaborating with the MOMOLAND girls and is currently in discussion for the collaboration.
MOMOLAND, which has built a solid overseas fandom with hits like “BAAM”, “Thumbs Up” and “Bboom Bboom”, aims to show a new side of their art in 2022.
