Miami, FL (October 9, 2026) – Manu Manzo presents “Moody’s Mood for Love,” an intimate and elegant reinterpretation of the classic associated with legendary saxophonist James Moody, featuring a special appearance by renowned saxophonist Ed Calle.
With this release, Manu explores a side of her artistry deeply rooted in jazz and her own beginnings as a vocalist. The song also holds special meaning for the artist, as it is connected to musical memories and influences that have shaped her personal and family history.
Through a warm and intimate vocal performance, Manu brings the song into her own musical world, honoring the essence of the classic while infusing it with a contemporary and deeply personal sensibility.
Manu also created a Spanish-language adaptation of the classic, titled “Manu’s Mood for Love,” the only officially authorized Spanish-language version of “Moody’s Mood for Love.”
Production and arrangements are led by Julio Bagué, who brings together an exceptional group of musicians for this recording: Ed Calle on saxophone, Rodner Padilla on bass, Nomar Negroni on drums, and Manuel Gámez on keyboards.
