RIAA President & COO Michele Ballantyne Presents Legendary Regional Mexican Group with Six Diamante Plaques During Hollywood Walk of Fame Celebration
Los Angeles, CA (July 20, 2026) — After making history this past Thursdaywith the unveiling of its Hollywood Walk of Fame star, legendary Regional Mexican group Intocable reached another historic milestone in its celebrated career as RIAA President & COO Michele Ballantyne presented the band with six RIAA Diamante certifications, recognizing the extraordinary and enduring success of its catalog.
The presentation took place during Intocable’s Hollywood Walk of Fame after-party, further cementing the band’s place among the most influential artists in Latin music history.
With these latest certifications, Intocable reaches a significant milestone in Regional Mexican music, becoming one of the first bands in the genre to earn six Diamante certifications, each achieved through recordings released without featured artist collaborations.
