Miami, FL (May 26, 2026) – With a sun that never stopped shining, Colombian icon Carlos Vives wrapped up his acclaimed Tour al Sol 2026 across North America this past weekend. The tour arrived at Miami’s Kaseya Center on May 23 with a show filled with surprises and emotion, before concluding on May 24 at Orlando’s Kia Center in front of thousands of fans who celebrated alongside the artist at the end of an unforgettable tour.
With a performance packed with history, classic hits, and memorable moments, Miami – “the city of everyone,” as Vives describes it – experienced a truly unique night. Among the evening’s standout moments, producer Sergio George joined the artist onstage to celebrate his birthday and perform “Si Yo Volviera a Nacer,” a track featured on El Último Disco Vol. 1. The official music video premiered that same night on Vives’ YouTube channel. The salsa celebration continued later in the show with a special appearance by Grupo Niche to perform a salsa version of “La Tierra del Olvido”.
The evening was elevated by special guests who thrilled the audience from beginning to end. Niña Pastori joined Carlos Vives to perform “Sombra Perdida” live for the very first time, while Fonseca surprised attendees with an emotional rendition of “Quiero Verte Sonreír.”
With new technologies and an impressive visual production, Vives took audiences on a vibrant journey through unforgettable classics and songs from his latest album. The setlist included hits such as “Volví a Nacer,” “La Bicicleta,” “Canción Bonita,” “Fruta Fresca,” and “Robarte un Beso,” alongside new tracks like “Tuyo y Nada Más” and “Buscando el Mar,” both featured on El Último Disco.
One of the tour’s most emotional moments came during the performance of “Te Dedico,” a song that accompanied multiple marriage proposals and moved audiences in every city that experienced the magic of Tour al Sol.
The audience also enjoyed a medley of classics that included “La Hamaca Grande,” “La Gota Fría,” and “El Cantor de Fonseca,” in addition to hits such as “La Cañaguatera,” “Carito,” and “Pa’ Mayte,” reaffirming Carlos Vives as one of the leading global ambassadors of Colombian music. To close each night, the show transformed into a carnival celebration, with fans invited onstage to dance and celebrate alongside the artist to the rhythm of “Cuando Nos Volvamos a Encontrar.”
As the North American leg of his tour came to an end, “Te Dedico” reached No. 1 on radio in U.S., Ecuador and Panama, reaffirming the global reach of Carlos Vives’ music and his ability to connect with different generations through songs that continue to make history.
Tour al Sol has been more than a concert tour: it has been a musical journey following the path of the sun. From the first rays of sunrise, symbolizing hope and new beginnings; through midday, filled with energy and joy in every performance; to sunset, where nostalgia and magic took over the stage. Tour al Sol 2026 is a tribute to more than three decades of vallenato, Colombian rhythms, and the joy that Carlos Vives has brought to stages around the world. It is an opportunity to experience a musical journey that honors nostalgia, celebration, and a passion for Latin music.
The artist will bring his Tour al Sol to the Coliseo de Puerto Rico on June 5.
