Miami, FL (April 14, 2026) – The Colombian band Morat and Argentine urban pop singer-songwriter Emilia, of WK Entertainment, elevated the adrenaline during the first weekend of the massive Coachella festival in California.
The Latin artists performed on Saturday, April 11, on the Gobi Stage.
Morat Makes Coachella Debut, Headlines Gobi Stage
Morat made its Coachella debut with a performance that made it clear why the band represents one of the most significant forces in global Latin pop today. As the headliner of the Gobi Stage, the Colombian group delivered a live performance defined by its musical solidity, its connection with the audience, and a response that transcended language.
From the very first moments, the connection was immediate. “Cómo Te Atreves” saw the crowd chanting every word along with the band, setting a tone that held steady throughout the entire set. That energy continued with “Amor Con Hielo,” which ratcheted up the intensity even further, while “Faltas Tú” paved the way for a more celebratory moment, one where the show felt less like a formal performance and more like a communal gathering.
One of the night’s standout moments arrived with “No Se Va,” which built gradually on stage. Villamil kicked things off on strings, Martín added the drums, and Simón laid down the bassline, until Isaza stepped in to deliver the first verse. By that point, the audience was completely captivated, taking ownership of a large portion of the song and turning it into one of the most immersive moments of the entire performance.
Midway through the show, the band revisited the very beginning of their history. “Mi Nuevo Vicio,” the first track the group released under the name Morat back in 2015, marked the arrival of Mexican pop star Paulina Rubio, who joined them on stage to bring that moment full circle. The reaction was instantaneous, with the audience erupting in excitement, making it one of the absolute highlights of the night.

Emilia Ignites Luísa Sonza’s Performance
The Argentine artist Emilia appeared as a guest performer alongside her Brazilian friend and colleague, Luísa Sonza.
Emilia’s surprise appearance to perform the tracks “Bunda” and “Motinha 2.0 (Remix)” sparked an overwhelming reaction from the audience.
