San Juan, Puerto Rico (January 21, 2026) — Los Cangrejeros de Santurce are once again champions of Puerto Rican winter baseball league. The iconic franchise secured its 17th championship in the Liga de Béisbol Profesional Roberto Clemente (LBPRC) after defeating the Leones de Ponce 5–1 in Game 6 of the 2025–2026 Final Series on Tuesday night at a sold-out Hiram Bithorn Stadium, before 15,600 fans.
The title marks a historic milestone for the organization, as it represents the first championship since global music icon Daddy Yankee joined the ownership group as co-owner, ushering in a new era for one of the most storied teams in league history.
“This championship is about legacy, unity, and the future of Los Cangrejeros and the baseball in Puerto Rico,” said Daddy Yankee.
