Global superstar Pitbull, also known as Mr. 305 and Mr. Worldwide, to Partner with College Football Playoff throughout 2026 CFP National Championship Weekend
MIAMI – The College Football Playoff (CFP) today announced that global superstar Pitbull will headline the Capital One Music Stage at Allstate Championship Tailgate, bringing his high-energy performance to kick off the 2026 national championship game day festivities.
The event will take place on Monday, January 19 outside Hard Rock Stadium from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET before the 2026 CFP National Championship. Attendees will have the opportunity to partake in interactive games, sponsor activations, concessions, and performances by each team’s marching band during the day. In November, it was announced that fans will also enjoy a performance by Latina country rising star Kat Luna.
Pitbull will also be partnering with the CFP on several other fronts across the full national championship weekend, including a collaboration with the College Football Playoff Foundation and his SLAM Foundation to give back to the Miami community and focus on celebrating and supporting educators who make an extraordinary impact. As part of the collaboration, Pitbull will speak at the annual Extra Yard for Teachers Summit on Saturday, January 17, 2026, sharing his personal story and highlighting the teachers who positively shaped his journey. The partnership will also bring grant funding, educator recognition, and an Extra Yard Makeover to SLAM schools – providing meaningful support for those educators and the students they serve.
Additionally, he is working alongside the CFP and its licensing agent, CLC, on an exclusive Pitbull x College Football Playoff merchandise collection that will be available for purchase in the CFP Shop within Playoff Fan Central, a free family-friendly event that will be held January 16-18 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, as well as online at shop.collegefootballplayoff.com. This specially curated, limited-edition merchandise drop will feature original designs inspired by Pitbull’s own take on the intersection between college football, South Florida and the national championship game. Royalties generated from the sale of College Football Playoff merchandise help fund the CFP Foundation’s community engagement initiative, Extra Yard for Teachers.
