UMPG celebrated two additional honors, with Xavi receiving the ASCAP Latin Songwriter of the Year and Feid the ASCAP Songwriter/Artist of the Year
Miami, Florida (April 30, 2025) — The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) has honored Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) with the prestigious Premio ASCAP 2025 / Latin ASCAP Award 2025 as Publisher of the Year. This marks the third consecutive year that UMPG has received the honor. The Latin ASCAP Awards 2025 are an esteemed annual event that celebrates the most notable Latin songs of the year.
As Publisher of the Year, their notable hit songs include: “(Entre Paréntesis),” “Adivino,” “Alch Si,” “Baccarat,” “Brickell,” “Corazón de Piedra,” “El Jefe,” “Gata Only,” “Igual Que Un Ángel,” “La Falda,” “La Nena,” “Puntería,” “Si No Es Contigo,” “Si Sabe Ferxxo” and “Sorry 4 That Much.”
UMPG-signed songwriter, Xavi, earned his first ASCAP Latin Songwriter of the Year honor, becoming the youngest recipient in ASCAP’s Latin awards history at 20 years old. His pioneering blend of corridos tumbados and romantic lyrical themes has topped the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart with songs like “La Diabla” and “La Víctima.”

In addition, UMPG songwriter and global recording artist Feid scores the ASCAP Songwriter/Artist of the Year Award for the second consecutive year. His top songs include “Perro Negro,” “Bubalu” and “Luna.”

Alexandra Lioutikoff, President of Universal Music Publishing Latin America and U.S. Latin, and Ana Rosa Santiago, Senior Vice President of Universal Music Publishing Latin Music, accepted the award alongside their outstanding team. They expressed, “We are proud to share that we’ve been recognized as ASCAP’s Publisher of the Year for the third consecutive year—an incredible milestone that highlights the dedication of our entire team. The invitation-only ceremony was held last night in Los Angeles, CA. It brought together some of the industry’s top talent to honor the songwriters and publishers shaping today’s Latin music landscape. The night was filled with celebration, recognition, and star-studded moments.
