Listening to “El Vuelo” from beginning to end is like taking an emotional journey guided by Gloria Trevi’s voice and heart. The order of the songs is not random; each song is a chapter that connects with universal experiences: love, heartbreak, loss, freedom, and the joy of living.
From intense ballads like “Un Abrazo” (A Hug) and “Arrúllame” (Calm Me) to empowering anthems like “Cueste lo que Cueste” (Whatever the Cost) and “No estás sola” (You’re not Alone), from love and heartbreak like “Mientras tú te ríes de mí” (While you laugh at me), “Mentí” (I Lied), “Para querer como te quiero,” (To Love How I Love You) and “Me dejé Llevar” (I Let Myself Go) to cries of inner strength like “Para siempre triste” (Forever Sad), a duet with Mónica Naranjo, revealing a defiant, real, and liberated Trevi. In addition, she traverses rhythms that invite you to dance, demonstrating that Gloria Trevi is not only at her best but also maintains a unique connection with her audience, transmitting truth and emotion in each song.
“El Vuelo” is also the focus single for the album. Produced by YoFred, Gloria lets her hair down for a second time, capturing attention from the very first beat. The music video for “El Vuelo” was filmed in Madrid and produced and directed by Pablo Croce.
