(August 30, 2024) – Jacqie Rivera, the talented singer-songwriter known for her powerful voice and unique style, signs a global deal with Virgin Music Group and releases the first single under this new partnership, “Si Pasa Una Mosca.” The heartbreak song, available now on all digital platforms, is a new chapter in her artistic career and will undoubtedly deeply resonate with her dedicated fanbase.

The first single under this new partnership, “Si Pasa Una Mosca” is a song written by Salvador Aponte and Leslie Laraim, and produced by Carlos Alvarez. The track blends melancholic sounds with a moving narrative that delves into the pain and resignation of a relationship nearing its end. This collaboration between Rivera, Aponte, and Alvarez is a tune that will undoubtedly capture the hearts of many.
Jacqie Rivera, daughter of the iconic “Dive de La Banda”, Jenni Rivera, shares her personal experience with the song, stating: “The first time I heard the song, I was driving my car and immediately felt a lump in my throat and started to cry. The lyrics are powerful, and I felt connected to them.”
The song tells the story of a relationship coming to an end: relationships start beautifully, but there comes a point where maintaining them becomes work, and eventually, we run out of energy to keep going. “Something so beautiful turns into something heavy, something that robs you of hope. I think many people have experienced heartbreak and will relate to the story in this song. That’s why, without a second thought, I recorded it,” Rivera concluded.
