Miami, FL. (July 2, 2024)– MLB All-Star and Boston Red Sox pitcher Kenley Jansen took time off from this week’s game schedule to visit the Ronald McDonald House in Miami, FL, showing his continued work for the Kenley Jansen Foundation and RMHC South Florida. His visit showed support and brought joy to children hospitalized and their families.
Kenley Jansen, along with his wife Gianni and KJ74 Entertainment artist RAFIK were greeted by Executive Director, Soraya Rivera-Moya along with Dawn Compres, House Manager, and Mariana Rebollero, Volunteer Program Manager where they shared time, positive messages, music and gifts with kids and their families.
During the visit they toured the RMHC Miami house facilities, including visiting multiple rooms and house spaces of this “home away from home” where children can lead a normalized life while receiving medical treatment.
This opportunity reaffirms Kenley‘s commitment to children and the mission of the Kenley Jansen Foundation.
The Kenley Jansen Foundation was established in 2018 by Professional Baseball player Kenley Jansen along with his wife, Gianni. The foundation offers support to families with seriously ill children, by providing them with resources that could provide children life-changing experiences and improved quality of their daily lives throughout their treatment.
KJ74 Entertainment. The record label was born from passion for music and the pursuit of introducing the unique sounds of the ABC Islands to a worldwide audience. An independent label defined by its diverse offering of cultures, unique sounds, and musical talents, KJ74 Entertainment opened its doors four years ago under Jansen’s helm. Thus far, the label has signed three artists, including RAFIK,who is also joining us here today.
RAFIK Born and raised in Curaçao, RAFIK is a multicultural singer and producer with a unique blend of Lebanese and Colombian heritage. He moved to Medellin, Colombia several years ago to immerse himself into the vibrant music scene to expand on his already unique fusion of sounds. His new single TUKUN is his first official release with Kenley Jansen’s KJ74 Entertainment family.
