Miami, FL. (July 17, 2023) – Eslabon Armado delivered a night to remember this past Saturday, July 15 as the super-group headlined the Crypto Arena in Los Angeles, California with a sold-out show.
The electric energy on stage was felt throughout the crowd as fans screamed their heart out to the 3-hour set list, singing along to every lyric. The show felt like a true celebratory event, with constant confetti raining all over the crowd, and a jaw-dropping production of lights and visuals that perfectly encapsulated the group’s brand and powerful discography.
Before the show, the group was gifted custom Lakers jerseys gifted by the Crypto arena executives themselves, as well as honored with a plaque by the California Legislation Assembly, commemorating the group’s massive achievements and contributions to Latin music and crowning them the pioneers of the “new wave of Regional Mexican Music.”
The lead singer of the group, Pedro Tovar, only further proved his talent with a shining vocal performance that noticeably left the crowd in complete awe. Singing an array of notable hits such as “As Lo Quiso Dios”, “Con Tus Besos”, and of course, the chart-topping smash hit “Ella Baila Sola”, the entire arena was lit up with almost as much joy as the group themselves, as they visibly looked out in the sold-out arena with immense gratitude.
With Pedro and Brian Tovar’s father constantly by their side on stage, being their hype-man, as well as their mother throwing shirts, hats, and other accessories out to the fans, it was a true sight to see this family bond unfold on stage, especially during the biggest show of the group’s career.
On top of the show celebrating how much they have accomplished as a group and the monumental success they have achieved, the biggest show of their career also happened to fall on Pedro Tovar’s 21st birthday. With a surprise mega-birthday cake and a mariachi band, the show turned into a quick birthday celebration for the talented superstar, and the contagious smile that graced his face illuminated the entire arena
Just when the night felt like it couldn’t get any better, the group brought out surprise guests Ivan Cornejo to sing their notable collaborations “La Curiosidad” and “Hasta La Muerte”, leaving the crowd in utter shock. But that wasn’t the only surprise the group had in store, DannyLux was brought on stage for yet another surprise performance, singing their collaborative smash hit “Jugaste y Sufri.”
This sold-out arena show was yet another milestone added to their long roster of record-setting achievements that they have achieved this year. As the first Mexican act to go No. 1 on Billboard’s Global 200 and being crowned RIAA’s Top Latin Single on their Mid Year’s Best’ 23 list, they have conquered the unbelievable, and are only continuing to do so.
Words can only describe so much about this heart-racing and energy-inducing show. But one thing that can be said, you absolutely do not want to miss an Eslabon Armado show. Just hope that you can be one of the lucky ones to take home a rose.
