Over 18,000 witnessed Trevi’s “Isla Divina World Tour” in Chile and Perú over the weekend
As the artist to have held the most shows at Mexico’s Auditorio Nacional, Trevi closed her 10th SOLD OUT at the venue, confirming that 100,000 fans have seen her “Isla Divina World Tour” there since the kick off
Miami, FL (May 22, 2023) – Gloria Trevi not only became “the highest grossing touring female artist in Mexico”, so far in 2023, but she continues to demonstrate her cultural relevance, her power on stage and popularity with continuous sold-out shows in Mexico and Latin America. Over the weekend, the singer-songwriter added TWO SOLD OUT shows at the Movistar Arena in Chile and Arena 1 on the Costa Verde in Lima, Peru of her “Isla Divina World Tour”. Without a doubt, Trevi can proclaim the title as the undisputed queen of SOLD OUTs this year in Latin America.
With recent shows at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City, Chile and Peru, in less than 5 days Trevi gathered over 35,000 fans who sang along to a repertoire of more than 25 songs that include the biggest hits of his career for more than two hours.
Gloria Trevi has completed 10 SOLD OUTS of her “Isla Divina World Tour” at the Auditorio Nacional, which has brought 100,000 fans together at the venue since the tour kicked off in 2022. Due to her immense success, the singer-songwriter announced the 11th and final 2023 date of her “Isla Divina World Tour” at the Auditorio Nacional for June 24, making it her 38th performance at the venue since 1991, consolidating Trevi as “the artist with the most performances at the venue”.
With the purpose of making her show a cathartic experience in the face of today’s challenges, Trevi brings a massive and spectacular production, including multiple LED screens, special effects, lighting and five wardrobe and scenery changes, that help her take audiences through a journey that leads you to a paradisiacal beach, while accompanied by a a full band, dancers and musicians.
The show’s repertoire is made up of 25 songs that have taken audiences through the three decades of the singer-songwriter’s career. Tracks range from her 1990s classics like Dr. Psiquiatra, Dr. Psiquiatra, Con Los Ojos Cerrados, Pelo Suelto and El Recuento de los Daños, to Todos Me Miran, El Favor de la Soledad, Vestida de Azúcar and No Querías Lastimarme. It also features her most recent hits, including Ensayando Cómo Pedirte Perdón, La Recaída and Él se Equivocó, all featured in her twelfth studio album, Isla Divina (2022).
