THIS IS THE FIRST SINGLE FROM JONATHAN MOLY’S NEXT ALBUM “METAMORFOSIS”
Miami, FL. (May 12, 2023) – With a clear vision of the future of salsa music and connecting with younger audiences again, the Venezuelan singer, songwriter, and producer Jonathan Moly releases his new single “Hablándole al Silencio” together with urban artists from Venezuela, Trainerand Jambene. Although the single is about spite, the rhythm and the voices of these three artists intertwine perfectly to achieve a positive and unique vibe that will have everyone dancing to the rhythm of this Uptempo Salsa, a style that tends to sound more pop. Released under ADA – Warner Music, the single is now available on all digital music platforms.
Composed and produced entirely by Jonathan Moly, “Hablándole al Silencio” is musically innovative and possesses futuristic choruses and deep lyrics. It’s aimed at today’s youth, not only because of its lively rhythm but also because of its use of modern-day speech brought to life by Trainer and Jambene, who provide a fresh sound to appeal to young audiences.
“With this specific collaboration, I wanted to work with artists who would have an impact on young people who don’t listen to salsa in order to reach a new audience and that’s why Jambene and Trainer were the perfect fit to achieve this. I reached out to both of them on Instagram with the idea of singing a salsa (something they had never done) so that they could also give their audience a different song than what they were used to and they both loved the idea”, expressed Jonathan Molly.
The music video was directed by Poe Polanco and was filmed in an abandoned clinic in Caracas, Venezuela. It’s a video performance that shows the complicity and energy that the song transmits.
Venezuelan singer, songwriter and producer Jonathan Moly started in the music industry at the age of 18 and has had the opportunity to record three albums titled “A Mi Manera”, “Compass” and “13”. After achieving great successes, including taking his music to Latin America, having performed more than 600 concerts and being nominated for Premios Juventud’s “Best New Artist” in 2013, Jonathan has not stopped making music and his audience keeps growing day by day. However, in 2022, he marked a new chapter of his career, delving fully into salsa music with what will be his new studio work, which he hopes to release at the end of May.
Stay tuned for everything that is to come with Jonathan Moly!
