Miami, Florida (Wednesday, August 2, 2023) – The greatest hits continue for Jonathan Moly, as the Venezuelan artist captures the public’s attention in a viral video that garnered more than 26 million views in less than 48 hours on TikTok. This unprecedented event demonstrates Moly’s growing popularity in the music scene, and further proves his stance as a potential rising artist of modern salsa or, as he himself calls it, “the salsa of the future.”
In the video, which was published on July 30, Moly can be seen singing the original version of “The Reason” by the renowned rock band Hoobastank in karaoke at a restaurant located in the iconic Placita de Santurce in Puerto Rico. The audience present visibly moved and singing in unison with the salsa singer had no idea that they were being watched by Doug Robb, the vocalist, and Dan Estrin, the guitarist of Hoobastank.
