MULTI-PLATINUM ARTIST, COMPOSER, GRAMMY® AND LATIN GRAMMY WINNER® CARLOS VIVES, SUCCESSFULLY KICKS OFF HIS LONG-AWAITED FACE-TO-FACE CONCERT TOUR
The Artist Will Take His Tour To More Than 12 Cities In The United States, Visiting Canada And Ending In San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Miami, FL. (December 7, 2022) – Iconic and multi-awarded Colombian artist with the most important recognitions in the music industry such as the Grammys® and Latin Grammy®, Carlos Vives, began his tour “Después De Todo… Vives” exhausting the box office while achieving two consecutive SOLD OUTS in Florida. The first two cities in which he began his journey were crowded with his Miami fans, attending at the FTX Arena and in Orlando, at the Amway Center, were delighted with his extensive repertoire spanning three decades of music hits.
Vives presented a musical journey in which he performed classics such as “La Tierra del Olvido”, “Fruta fresca” and “Pa’ Mayte” as well as many of his most recent releases such as “Canción Bonita” and “Besos En Cualquier Horario”, a song in which he shares credits with Mau and Ricky, who surprisingly arrived at the FTX Arena in Miami to fulfill the dream of singing live with one of their favorite artists’, Carlos Vives. “Cuando Nos Volvamos A Encontrar”, “La Bicicleta” and “Cumbiana” were other hits that the Colombian included in his set list. To mention just a few. Likewise, he also premiered his most recent EP called ‘Masters en Parranda’ in which he pays tribute to the most important songs of Colombian Pop and made the audience that attended that evening vibrate, as several of the genre’s top representatives came to Florida to accompany Vives on stage.

The Colombian artist recently collaborated musically with Lin Manuel Miranda for the Disney film “Encanto” which premiered last weekend and has obtained great international reception and blockbuster success. This becomes more proof of the era that Carlos Vives is living, proving that everything that he is involved in becomes a success.
Carlos Vives, who has been characterized by his altruistic work inside and outside Colombia, reaffirms once again his social commitments, donating one dollar of each ticket sold to the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation® and another dollar to his initiative “Tras La Perla”.
Vives has been a generous ally of the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation® since its launch seven years ago. In 2018 he joined them to create the Carlos Vives Scholarship, which gave Nicolle Horbath, an aspiring student singer, the opportunity to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Songwriting at Berklee College of Music in Boston. The young woman was selected by the Scholarship Committee of the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation® among a highly competitive group of hundreds of applicants from the Americas as well as the Iberian Peninsula.
Tras La Perla is the initiative created by Carlos Vives to actively promote the improvement of the quality of life in the city of Santa Marta and its influential region. The Initiative is based on the cooperation and articulation of various forces that allow discovering the potential of the city and the territory, seeking balance and sustainability in all dimensions its development.
