Miami, FL. (November 5, 2026) – A LinkedIn post opened an important door for ZTVZ (Los Estévez), the Puerto Rican brother duo of astrophysicists Diego and Carlos Andrés Estévez, who were selected by Incurator and paired with renowned producer and musician Eduardo Cabra as their mentor. Today, November 5, they released “Down,” a new single that marks a period of growth for the project and its signature Z-pop sound, a fusion of Latin pop, futuristic sounds, retro elements, and diverse influences through which they seek to push the boundaries of the genre.
With relatable lyrics and an immersive melody from the very first notes, “Down” reaffirms ZTVZ’s ability to blend different genres and textures into a unique and refreshing sound. The release arrives at a pivotal moment for the duo, who this year introduced their first international collaborations with Mexico’s Soultade and Dominican duo Martox, while also securing a sponsorship partnership with 7UP. They have also collaborated with major brands and events, including:
- New York Fashion Week – The Blonds’ 20th Anniversary Fashion Show (September 2026).
- GRAMMY House New York – Frecuencia Latina: A Latin Artist Showcase (June 2026).
- FIFA House 2026 – Opening Night Party, in collaboration with Rolling Stone (July 2026, New York).
- McDonald’s × SoundCloud – Campaign for the 2026 FIFA World Cup (2026).
This new chapter is also backed by a team of music industry professionals, including Gabriel Abaroa, who served as President of the Latin Recording Academy for more than 20 years, Franco Abaroa, and Eduardo Cabra, an acclaimed music producer and the most-awarded Latin GRAMMY winner. For ZTVZ, this growth represents an opportunity to reach new audiences and continue developing a project that extends beyond music.
Beyond their professional achievements, the brothers find motivation in the impact of their work and the pride of their family. Originally from Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, ZTVZ continues to build a musical universe where the past, present, and future converge, with the vision of bringing its Z-pop sound to international stages.
