MIAMI, FL (November 3rd, 2026) — Wisin has signed a new agreement with Sony Music Latin for the release of his upcoming music projects, which will be released through his own label, La Base Music Group. The partnership combines Wisin’s artistic vision and entrepreneurial leadership with Sony Music Latin’s global marketing and distribution capabilities.
For Wisin, the agreement marks a new chapter in a career defined by his evolution as an artist, producer, and entrepreneur. Through La Base Music Group, he continues to lead the creative direction of his music while partnering with Sony Music Latin to bring his upcoming releases to audiences worldwide.
Alex Gallardo, President of Sony Music Latin, said: “We’re proud to welcome back home Wisin and La Base Music Group and look forward to working together to bring his next chapter of music to fans around the world.”
Wisin added: “Returning to Sony Music Latin feels like coming home. I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter alongside a team that shares my passion for continuing to innovate and bringing our music to audiences around the world.”
The partnership arrives alongside Universidad del Perreo, Wisin’s latest project. Celebrating reggaetón’s Puerto Rican roots, the initiative connects the genre’s pioneers with a new generation of artists. Beyond its 12-track album, Universidad del Perreo has evolved into a broader platform featuring educational experiences, courses, and exclusive events, with more than 2 million registered “students.” The Universidad del Perreo World Tour kicks off with two shows at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico on November 13 and 14.
The agreement builds on a career defined by global hits, including “Adrenalina” with Jennifer Lopez and Ricky Martin, “Escápate Conmigo” featuring Ozuna, “Vacaciones,” and “Que Viva la Vida.”
Wisin and La Base Music Group are represented by Oswaldo Rossi and Diego Quintero of Rossi Baldivia Klein Fine & Spector (RBKFS).
