(September 10, 2026) – Jay Wheeler is celebrating one of the most significant moments of his career after being announced as a finalist in two categories at the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards: Top Latin Rhythm Album of the Year for La Voz Favorita and Latin Rhythm Song of the Year for “Si Te Vas” featuring J Balvin. Broadcasting live from Miami’s James L. Knight Center, the Billboard Latin Music Awards will air on Telemundo and Peacock on Thursday, October 22 at 8 p.m. ET.
One of the year’s standout Latin Rhythm releases, La Voz Favorita debuted at No. 4 among the highest global album debuts on Spotify, reached No. 1 in Costa Rica, Panama, and Uruguay, and landed in the Top 5 across 15 international markets, further solidifying Wheeler’s global reach.
