The album’s lead single, “De Lejitos,” was officially certified Latin Platinum by the RIAA and currently sits at No. 8 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart.
The momentum also translated into massive global streaming success, with La Voz Favorita debuting as the 4th Biggest Spotify Global Album Debut during it’s release week. The album debuted at No. 1 in Costa Rica, Panama, and Uruguay, while reaching the Top 5 in 15 international markets across streaming platforms. It also became the most-streamed album on YouTube Puerto Rico and dominated Apple Music Puerto Rico, where Jay simultaneously held the Top 4 most-played songs in the country. Altogether, La Voz Favorita marked the biggest and most impactful debut of Jay Wheeler’s career to date.
