Bronx, NY (August 14, 2026) – Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson announced the remaining lineup for the 2026 Bronx Summer Concert Series, inviting residents and visitors alike to enjoy free live music, family-friendly entertainment, and cultural celebrations throughout the month of August and Labor Day Weekend. The annual series at Orchard Beach Pavilion will conclude on Sunday, September 6, with a special Labor Day Weekend finale headlined by Bronx native, Puerto Rican Grammy Award winning artist Elvis Crespo, bringing one of the borough’s own back home for a celebration of music, culture, and community.
The event will take place at Orchard Beach Pavilion from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
The performance marks a special moment for Crespo, who will return to the city where he was born to share his music with a new generation of New Yorkers while celebrating his roots. “Performing in New York City, where I was born, makes this moment meaningful. I can’t wait to bring the energy of merengue back to the city that will always be part of who I am,” said Elvis Crespo.
The Bronx Summer Concert Series has become one of the borough’s signature summer traditions, bringing together thousands of residents and visitors each year to celebrate the music, diversity, and cultural richness that define the Bronx. From salsa and merengue to hip-hop and reggae sounds, the series showcases internationally recognized artists alongside beloved local performers, creating opportunities for families, neighbors, and visitors to gather at one of New York City’s most iconic waterfront destinations, Orchard Beach.
