With his GRAMMY ReImagined rendition of “Folded,” Tavárez continues to expand his presence within the tropical genre while still maintaining his signature connection to urban music. Following the release of his third salsa track, “PA’ LO BONITO,” featuring legendary producer Sergio George, the artist continues to pay tribute to the influence of Latin rhythms while honoring the artistry behind Kehlani’s original record. Sung primarily in Spanish, though maintaining elements of the original English chorus, Tavárez infuses “Folded” with the romantic essence and instrumentation of bachata, creating a heartfelt interpretation that bridges cultures and genres.
