Miami, FL (May 6, 2026) – The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) has honored Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) with the prestigious Premio ASCAP 2026 / Latin ASCAP Award 2026 as Publisher of the Year. This marks the fourth consecutive year that UMPG has received the honor.
The Latin ASCAP Awards 2026 are an esteemed annual event that celebrates the most notable Latin songs of the year. The ASCAP Awards were held on May 5th, at Casadonna in Miami, Florida. The ceremony brought together some of the industry’s top talent, honoring the songwriters and publishers shaping today’s Latin music landscape.
Alexandra Lioutikoff, President, Latin America & U.S. Latin at Universal Music Publishing Group, accepted the award alongside the team. She expressed: “We are honored to be recognized as the 2026 ASCAP Latin Publisher of the Year, for the fourth consecutive year. We’re especially proud of our songwriters and team, whose talent, commitment, and passion continue to drive us forward.”
UMPG-signed songwriter wins include Romeo Santos as the 2026 ASCAP Latin Songwriter/Artist of the Year, as well as Feid, ICON, Xavi, Selena Gomez, Saox, Puche, Spreadlof, Tomas Claro, and Dysbit, amongst others.
UMPG was also recognized for 24 songs as the most played of 2025. These songs include “ÁNGEL,” “BAILE INOLVIDABLE,” “Carita Linda,” “Cosas Pendientes,” “Desde Hoy,” “Doblexxó,” “DtMF,” “EL CLÚB,” “En Privado,” “EoO,” “Flores,” “HÁBLAME CLARO,” “Khé?,” “KLOuFRENS,” “Moscow Mule,” “NUEVAYoL,” “Ojos Tristes,” “PERFUMITO NUEVO,” “Por Mi México (Remix),” “Qué Pasaría…,” “VeLDÁ,” “Verano Rosa,” “VOY A LLEVARTE PA PR,” “WELTiTA.”
Additionally, UMPG was recognized for 13 songs at the BMI Latin Awards on March 16th, 2026, for the tracks “DtMF,” “LUNA,” “SANTA,” “Khé?,” “BAILE INOLVIDABLE,” “NUEVAYoL,” “PERFUMITO NUEVO,” “WELTiTA,” “KLOuFRENS,” “EL CLÚB,” “VeLDÁ,” “EoO,” and “VOY A LLEVARTE PA PR.”
