Miami, FL (May 4, 2026) – Intocable, Carlos Vives, Zhamira, Elvis Crespo, and Lupita Infante shined this weekend on different stages across the United States and Puerto Rico.
Fans in different locations were able to enjoy regional Mexican music, vallenato, pop, and merengue.
Intocable presented a performance of their “Cultura Tour” on Saturday, May 2, in Thackerville, Oklahoma, where they celebrated their legacy of more than three decades in regional Mexican music.
Meanwhile, Colombian singer-songwriter Carlos Vives continued his successful “Tour al Sol” in the state of Texas. On Friday, May 1, he performed in Sugar Land, in the Houston area, while on Saturday, May 2, he appeared in Grand Prairie, on the outskirts of Dallas.
The artist delighted fans with his biggest modern vallenato hits and songs from his new album, “El Último Disco Vol. 1.” The next performance on this tour will take place on May 7 in Chicago, Illinois.
Venezuelan artist Zhamira, meanwhile, delivered the final of three sold-out shows of her “Curita Para el Corazón” tour on Friday, May 1, at the Centro de Bellas Artes in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The young artist achieved a major milestone in her career by selling out all shows in just 10 minutes, and moved her fans emotionally by sharing the stage with her husband, Jay Wheeler, and their daughter, Aiunii.
Zhamira will continue her tour, which has sold-out tickets in multiple cities, on May 14 and 17 in Miami and Orlando, Florida, respectively.
Puerto Rican artist Elvis Crespo thrilled the audience attending American comedian Jo Koy’s show on Saturday, May 2, in Fresno, California. The merengue singer made a brief surprise appearance to perform his iconic hit “Suavemente,” sparking collective excitement.
During his stop in Fresno, Elvis Crespo also performed at the Tequila Fest, leaving a strong mark in California.
Meanwhile, regional Mexican singer Lupita Infante, granddaughter of the legendary Pedro Infante, performed at the annual May Day March and Rally in Los Angeles, California on Friday, May 1. The event, organized by the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), served as a rallying cry for immigrant rights in the United States.
Lupita Infante, who will release her EP “Aunque Me Duela” on May 8, moved the crowd as she sang in front of attendees waving flags and holding signs in support of immigrants.
