Miami, FL. (October 16, 2025) — Global music icon, singer, songwriter, and producer Daddy Yankee returns with his first studio album in three years, Lamento en Baile, available now via DY Records. The highly anticipated project arrives alongside the premiere of his new single “El Toque,” whose visually stunning music video was filmed in South Korea.

Recorded during one of the most challenging moments of his life, Lamento en Baile represents a personal and creative rebirth. In this new chapter, Daddy Yankee transforms pain into rhythm and reflection into joy, delivering one of the most uplifting and energetic albums of his career.
“With Lamento en Baile, I wanted to show that even in life’s hardest moments, music has the power to heal, inspire, and celebrate. Every track tells a story from my heart, and I can’t wait for my fans to dance and feel this journey with me,” says Daddy Yankee.
The album includes tracks such as “Quién Es Dios,” “Tan Invitao’,” “Gloria,” “Toy Hermoso,” “LEB,” and “Jezabel y Judas,” the latter featuring a powerful narrative and the unmistakable touch of legendary producer Sergio George, who previously collaborated with Daddy Yankee on the hits “De Vuelta Pa’ La Vuelta” and “Bonita.” “LEB,” which also gives its name to the album, is a word that means “heart” — the center of thought, reflection, and decision-making.
The first preview from the album, “Sonríele,” was released on July 10 from Bushwick, New York, revealing a more intimate side of the artist and connecting deeply with his musical and personal roots.
“El Toque” and the full album Lamento en Baile is available now on all digital platforms via DY Records.
