LISTEN TO “GOODBYE” HERE.
Miami, FL. (August 27, 2025) – Global Latin music icon Carlos Vives, internationally acclaimed pianist Arthur Hanlon, and Goyo – one of the most influential voices in contemporary Afro-Latin music – will join forces for a historic performance of “Goodbye” —a track featured on Hanlon’s new album 2 Manos, 1 Mundo— on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (NBC – check local listings) on Tuesday, September 2. This performance will mark the beginning of the highly anticipated new season of Fallon with an unforgettable musical moment.
With Hanlon at the piano, “Goodbye” –a historic fusion of cumbia and blues on one stage– becomes a transcendent emotional journey — a fusion of cultures, virtuoso musicianship, and powerful voices that embody the spirit of 2 Manos, 1 Mundo: one world united through music.
Carlos Vives – Colombia’s most celebrated cultural ambassador, Vives is a two-time GRAMMY®️ and 18-time Latin GRAMMY®️ winner, credited with revolutionizing vallenato and bringing Colombian sounds to the world stage. With more than 20 million albums sold, his hits “La Gota Fría,” “Fruta Fresca,” and “La Bicicleta” (with Shakira) remain Latin music touchstones.
Vives is getting ready for one of Bogotá’s most anticipated upcoming shows — the Festival Cordillera on September 13. El Rock de Mi Pueblo Vive will take over Simón Bolívar Park.
Arthur Hanlon – A trailblazer in Latin music, Hanlon is the only pianist to reach the top of the Billboard Latin charts. Hanlon has collaborated with Luis Fonsi, Juanes, Laura Pausini, Marc Anthony, and Ozuna, and has graced stages from Madison Square Garden to Mexico City’s massive Auditorio Nacional. With 2 Manos, 1 Mundo, he continues to break barriers, proving that the piano can be a global language.
Goyo – Afro-Colombian singer, songwriter, and activist, Goyo is the co-founder of the GRAMMY®️-winning group ChocQuibTown and was recognized by Forbes as one of the Most Powerful Women in Colombia. Known for her fearless voice and advocacy for diversity and women’s empowerment, she represents a bold and unapologetic new generation of Latin artists.
