2x GRAMMY® and Latin GRAMMY® nominee celebrates heritage, family legacy, and cultural pride at Dignity Health Sports Park
Miami, FL (August 12, 2025) – On Sunday, August 10, Lupita Infante, 2x GRAMMY® and Latin GRAMMY® nominee and granddaughter of the legendary Pedro Infante, delivered a powerful performance at the LA Galaxy Halftime Show during the team’s home game against the Seattle Sounders at Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles, CA. Proudly representing her roots as a Mexican-American and LA native, Infante brought the rich, emotional sound of Música Mexicana to the stadium stage.
As the crowd cheered, she honored her iconic family legacy while showcasing her distinct voice and modern take on traditional Mexican music. Her performance on such a prominent sports platform served as a reminder of the importance of cultural representation in mainstream entertainment and further solidified her role as a leading female voice in Música Mexicana.

Most recently, Infante teamed up with fellow Música Mexicana royalty Leonardo Aguilar, grandson of the legendary Antonio Aguilar, for the release of “Amémonos De Nuevo.” The collaboration marks the first time two heirs from iconic Mexican music dynasties have united in a single track. The song, filled with tradition, emotion, and pride, celebrates love and cultural continuity, bringing together two rising voices who are carrying forward the legacies of their legendary families. This past May, Lupita released her acclaimed album “La Corona es Mía”, a project that solidifies her position as a leading voice in Música Mexicana, claiming the crown that is rightfully hers. Currently, Lupita Infante is continuing her 2025 tour, a milestone moment in her career, as she performs in multiple cities across the United States and Mexico. The tour includes solo headline shows as well as opening performances for Mexican music legends such as Pepe Aguilar, Los Ángeles Azules, and Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán.
