From Mexico, the Mexican music icon received the exciting news that he was honored with his first American Music Award in the category “Favorite Latin Duo or Group”, during the ceremony held this past Monday, May 26 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This award comes during a spectacular moment in the artist’s career. He recently broke the attendance record for a Mexican artist at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, as highlighted by Pollstar. More than 70,000 people attended the concert as part of his successful “4218 Tour”, solidifying his position as one of the most influential regional Mexican artists on the international stage.
