(April 24, 2025) – Following the historic three-night sold-out residency at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles last weekend, the renowned “King of the Box Office” Julión Álvarez and his Norteño Banda are nominated for the prestigious 2025 American Music Awards (AMAs) in the category of “Favorite Latin Duo or Group.” The ceremony, hosted by Jennifer Lopez, will take place on Monday, May 26th live from Las Vegas and will air on CBS at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT. It will also be available to stream on Paramount+ in the U.S.
The 2025 AMAs winners are voted exclusively by fans, while nominees are determined based on key audience interactions reflected on the Billboard charts, including streaming, album and song sales, radio airplay, and tour revenue.
