The triumphant return of the Regional Mexican Music icon, made a notable impact in the industry, setting the pace for the future of the genre and maintaining Latin music front and center
LOS ANGELES, CA (April 22, 2025) – Over 150,000 fans witnessed history over the weekend as Julión Álvarez officially made his U.S. return. Produced by Copar Music and CMN (Cardenas Marketing Network), the Mexican music icon became the first Latin act to sell out 3 consecutive nights at SoFi Stadium, making a notable impact in the music industry, setting the pace for the future of the genre and putting Latin music front and center.
The “King of the Box Office” made his presence known with three unforgettable nights in Los Angeles, dedicated to eager sold-out crowds who witnessed history in the making. As part of his “4218 Tour 2025”, the show was curated specifically for SoFi Stadium, and took a crew of over 100 to produce in three days a spectacle that would be engraved in fan’s memories forever.

Each evening took 50,000 fans on a thrilling 2-hour musical journey featuring Julión’s most legendary moments. The journey was narrated by a 40-song repertoire that featured fan favorites “Rey Sin Reina”, “Regalo de Dios”, “Lo Tienes Todo”, ”Lo Tienes Todo” and “Si Hubiera Sido Antes” y “El Amor De Su Vida”.; Álvarez also turned the stadium into a full blown massive “fiesta” with fans dancing across the isles to “La Maria”, “Las Mulas de Moreno” and “Conozco una Negra”, among others. Each night brought an unexpected moment, including a standout surprise when Julión invited Mexican rapper Santa Fe Klan on-stage, creating a priceless moment that will inspire union among generations.
One of the most incredible highlights of the show were three giant state-of-the-art screens that projected eye-grabbing images that told a more personal story of Álvarez. As the two-hour set ran its course, each track was brought to life by incredible vivid visuals that were not only inspired by his most recent album “4218” and stand-out track “Mi Tesoro”, but celebrate three of his most important pillars in life – – family, home and culture.

In a history-making weekend, Julión surpasses the achievements of Los Bukis, Grupo Firme, and Bad Bunny who performed two consecutive sold-out shows on the same weekend, and joins an elite group of global superstars with three nights at the venue, alongside Beyoncé and The Rolling Stones. As the only artist to achieve the milestone, it’s clear that the Música Mexicana legend has firmly etched his name in the history books as one of the most captivating and in-demand artists in the genre.
