Miami, FL (September 19, 2024) – On Wednesday, Sept. 18, Venezuelan artist, ADSO, hosted the “Pickleball Para Todos” tournament event at the Doral Park Country Club. The event was a success, bringing together music stars and community members to raise awareness and support for Best Buddies International.
Best Buddies International is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, inclusive living, and family support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities such as Down syndrome and autism.
ADSO is a proud advocate for the Best Buddies International organization and its message, stating: “I grew up with the blessing of having a brother with down syndrome. For me, this is a cause very close to my heart. My brother taught me that true inclusion is when we all support and love one another.”
The tournament, curated through Nevarez Communications, drew a diverse group of attendees and featured notable celebrity participation from TESA Entertainment, including Carmen DeLeon, Jonathan Moly, and Lenny Tavarez and award producer Ray “El Ingeniero”, as well as additional celebrity appearances from Manu Manzo, RAFIK and Periko & Jessi Leon. Their involvement helped amplify the event’s mission to bring people together in a fun and active way. Coaches from MGT Academy led the Best Buddies students, ADSO, and friends in complimentary pickleball clinics followed by cheerful matches with their teammates where all attendees had a chance to play on the pickleball courts. The event’s soundtrack featured songs from all artists in attendance, but highlighted ADSO’s recently-released debut album “Cien x Ciento”. The album showcases ADSO’s style diversity with tracks in various genres including regional mexican, electronic, trap, reggaeton, and ballads. |
