Miami, FL. (July 30, 2024) – Amanda Miguel is set to premiere her newest video “No Dejen Que El Chino Hable” (Don’t Let the Chino Speak), written by legendary Argentine singer/songwriter Leo Dan. The Calchaquí Valleys in Cafayate, Salta, Argentina provided the perfect backdrop for the video, featuring an impressive landscape with imposing mountains and deep canyons.
The reddish rock formations of the Calchaquí Valleys against its blue skies, created a unique canvas of natural beauty that served as inspiration for the filming of the video directed by Raúl Ramón for Vertigo Cine. The video premieres on Wed., July 31 on Amanda Miguel’s official YouTube.
“No Dejen Que El Chino Hable” is a chacarera, never before released by Leo Dan. “It’s a very happy song with folkloric depth,” said Amanda Miguel. “He (Leo Dan) was thinking that maybe I wouldn’t be able to interpret it in the traditional way. However, when I recorded and sent it to him, he said: ‘Oh, Amanda, you surprised me! How is it that you fit your own style so well with the music? And the truth is that it turned out really good. I grew up listening and singing folk music, so I knew how to interpret it in my own way and style, while keeping the traditional aspects.”
Last Saturday, July 27, Nicaraguans experienced a world-class show by Amanda Miguel at the Alexis Argüello Sports Center. Audiences felt the emotion and reminisced of past times through a collection of Miguel’s hits, including “Él Me Mintió,” “Mi Buen Corazón,” “Así No Te Amará Nunca,” “Hagamos un Tratamiento,” “Como un Títere,” “Castillos” and “El Gato y Yo,” among others.
Known for her powerful voice and emotional ballads, fans eagerly await their turn to see the Argentine legend perform, with upcoming performances slated for August 2 at La Macarena Events Center in Medellin and August 3 at Parque Viva in Costa Rica.

The song is part of the production “Yo Soy”, where she shares her most personal side, her essence, her roots and memories, which speak of her identity and the folklore of her native Argentina. The album contains ten pieces of Latin American folklore and great collaborations with artists of great musical strength such as the singer-songwriter Piero in the song “Soy Pan, Soy Paz, Soy Más”, Soledad Pastorutti appears in the song “Balderrama” and Leon Gieco in “Solo le pido a Dios”.
