Miami, FL (July 30, 2024) – 2x GRAMMY® nominee, and granddaughter of the Legendary Pedro Infante, Lupita Infante was the special guest during Lila Down’s show in Oaxaca, Mexico. This performance was particularly significant as it marked Lupita’s first time performing in the culturally rich city of Oaxaca, during the famous “La Guelaguetza” festival, and also her first time performing with the acclaimed Mexican singer-songwriter, Lila Downs. Her appearance added an extra layer of excitement to the evening, making it a memorable occasion for all in attendance.

Recently, Lupita Infante released her new single “Podemos (No Volver a La Ciudad)”” which is already proving itself as the ultimate Musica Mexicana Summer Anthem. The music video was filmed on the “Isla de la Piedra” in Mazatlan, Mexico, where Pedro Infante, Lupita’s grandfather, was born. Filming in her grandfather’s birth town showcases the significance of his legacy within the composition of her music.
