Boston Red Sox Baseball Pitcher Kenley Jansen Announces Launch of KJ74 Entertainment: Bringing the Sounds of the ABC Islands to the World
Miami, FL. (June 20, 2024) – Baseball pitcher Kenley Jansen, known for his impressive record on the field, has set his sights on a new venture beyond the baseball diamond. Jansen recently is proud to announce the establishment of KJ74 Entertainment, a record label that aims to introduce the unique sounds of the ABC Islands to audiences worldwide.
A native of Curaçao, one of the ABC Islands with a population of approximately 300,000, Jansen’s deep-rooted connection to his homeland has inspired him to create KJ74 Entertainment. Through this new business endeavor, Jansen hopes to amplify the rich and diverse musical talents of the ABC Islands and share them with a global audience.
Kenley Jansen shared his motivation behind the creation of KJ74 Entertainment, stating, “I have been running a music label in Curaçao for the past four years, and I see the incredible potential in the cultural fusion and distinct sounds of our region. It is my passion to showcase the talent from my home country and our neighboring sister islands to the world.”
One of the first artists to join forces with KJ74 Entertainment is RAFIK, a talented musician of Lebanese and Colombian descent who hails from Curaçao. RAFIK is set to release his debut single, “TUKUN”, under the KJ74 Entertainment banner on June 21, offering a preview of the vibrant and diverse music that the record label aims to bring to global audiences.
KJ74 Entertainment is poised to make a significant impact in the music industry by promoting the rich musical heritage of the ABC Islands and supporting local talent on an international stage. Among additional acts making part of KJ74 Entertainment’s Artist Roster include Omar Pierce and Icons Curaçao.
