(August 16, 2023) – Last night, the groundbreaking Regional Mexican ensemble, Eslabon Armado, threw the honorary first pitch for the LA Dodgers in a special celebration of Mexican Heritage Night. The annual event commemorates the cultures, history, and achievements of those from Mexico and across Latin America.
The group, who have been pioneers in Regional Mexican music’s global takeover, celebrated their Mexican heritage and the importance of their culture with the LA Dodgers, as they were invited to throw the honorary first pitch. The group has been dominating 2023 with the release of their smash single “Ella Baila Sola,” and is leading the wave of Regional Mexican Music’s newfound dominance on the global charts, making this year a defining one for the genre. The group was gifted honorary engraved Dodgers jerseys which included the surname of each member of the group.
The lead singer of the group, Pedro Tovar, threw the ball with a joyous swing, and the support of the rest of the group stood beside him on the field.
