Miami, FL. (June 2, 2023) – In a collaboration that occurred through social media with a Dominican producer, Dominican star NATTI NATASHA premieres today the bachata version of her most recent single “La Falta Que Me Haces”, an emotional song dedicated to her partner and manager Raphy Pina. Inspired by the musical genre that’s a trademark of her birthplace, the Dominican Republic, NATTI NATASHA gives a new twist to a song that conveys everything she’s gone through during one of the most difficult moments of her life, since the couple’s temporary separation a year ago. Released by Sony Music Latin/Pina Records, “La Falta Que Me Haces (Bachata Version)” is now available on all digital music platforms HERE.
Immediately after the release of its original version, social networks exploded with fans posting the audio along with visuals giving the track, one of Natti’s most personal to date, a whole new meaning. Shortly after, Dominican producer Polo Parra contacted NATTI NATASHA through Instagram and sent her several video files of the track produced to an authentic bachata beat. Natti loved the idea, and upon receiving a final version, they met to produce the final version. The original version of the song was produced by the talented Mexican singer-songwriter and ASCAP Composer of the Year winner, Joss Favela, with whom NATTI NATASHA had previously collaborated with on the global hit “La Mejor Version De Mí”.
“La Falta Que Me Haces“ conveys all the feelings NATTI NATASHA has encountered in the past year. In addition, it is a doubly special release since the original artwork was created by a detainee in the prison where her partner is located. The drawing shows NATTI NATASHA’s face with a tear streaming down her cheek, one that represents the feeling that both her and her partner are feeling given their separation.
NATTI NATASHA premiered “La Falta Que Me Haces” live at this year’s Latin American Music Awards (Latin AMAs) with a show-stopping performance that left audiences breathless. Prior to the live world premiere, she released the sizzling hot new single and video “Algarete” through her official page nattinatasha.com, after the video was censored on traditional video platforms. This song is part of a new musical phase in NATTI NATASHA’s career, where she not only uses her music to light up the clubs but to also empower fans through deep and meaningful lyrics.
