Miami, FL. (May 30, 2023) – Venezuelan singer-songwriter and producer Jonathan Moly releases today his new album “Metamorfosis” bringing an all-star casts of Latin artists under one roof, such as Lennox, Mike Bahía, Nacho and Luis Enrique, among others. The album aims to transform the salsa genre and create a modern movement that captivates audiences around the globe.
Fusing salsa with urban, romantic, African and Brazilian sounds, among others, “Metamorfosis” shows that music is universal and capable of uniting different countries under one vision. Released under ADA – Warner Music, the album is now available on all digital music platforms.
The album includes 12 tracks which were produced by Jonathan Moly alongside some the Latin industry’s biggest producers, including Porfi Baloa, founder of the renowned salsa group Adolescentes Orquesta.
Regarding “Metamorfosis” Jonathan expressed, “The most incredible thing about making this album was bringing together so many talented people onto the same project with the desire to make some different. I’m in the process of a transformation, and music represents that for me … a constant change. That’s why we wanted to try new sounds and fuse them with salsa. I loved the result because there is an incredible mix of cultures and styles that I’m sure will have an impact on the industry. It’s something new, and salsa is a genre that strongly reflects our Latino identity, so much that we have to defend it, modernize it so we can bring it into a new era.”
As a preview to the new album “Metamorfosis”, in May Moly released the single “Hablándole al Silencio” with Venezuelan urban artists Jambene and Trainer. Characterized as an up-tempo salsa, the single connected with a younger audience through the voices of Jambene and Trainer. In addition to this collaboration, the album tracks have a highlight collaborations with artists from different parts of the world.
