Miami, FL (April 27, 2023) – Following the release of Eclipse, today KHEA drops the second single from his upcoming album. Teaming up with Tiago PZK, the duo debuts the emotionally charged power ballad “Para Amarte A Ti”, which features incredible harmonies. Released under Young Flex/Interscope Records, the single is now available on all digital platforms.
Produced by Colombian artist Nobeat and Valium, the single is characterized by a nostalgic sound through piano chords, where through the lyrics KHEA narrates “A ver si comprenden que el problema es que para amarte a ti debo dejar de luchar conmigo”/ “Let’s see if they understand that the problem is that in order to love you, I have to stop fighting with myself.” It is a song that demonstrates a more musically mature side of KHEA, showing his evolution over the months.
“I showed Tiago the concept of my album where I wanted to show my feelings with meaningful lyrics, and he told me ‘this is what I wanted to hear,’” recalled KHEA. “We recorded ‘Para Amarte a Ti’ at the Kame House studio in Buenos Aires and it’s a song that arose in the silence of that internal search,” he added.
On his end, Tiago PZK expressed “One of the things I liked the most about ‘Para Amarte a Ti’ is that it doesn’t come from the ego. The lyrics are not dedicated to a person who did you wrong, but it’s more about “Get away from me because I can hurt you” and it sounds really good. I thought it was a super sincere project and that motivated me to join. Although we have been separated for a long time due to each other’s situations, I have been friends with Khea for a very long time and today I met a super mature and evolved guy in terms of everything that happened to him in his life. That lifted me up, finding myself with music from a much more mature place”
Recently, the Argentine artist returned with his song “Eclipse” which caught the attention of the music industry due to it being a completely different body of work from what KHEA had previously shown. With “Eclipse” a new stage in his career began, where he uses his music with meaning, a meaning he found while going through one of the most difficult moments of his life where his emotional health was compromised. However, music has been a form of catharsis and relief for him, and without a doubt, everyone will soon connect with this renewed KHEA who kicked off 2023 breaking barriers.
