Miami, FL. (October 18, 2022) – Global icon Daddy Yankee continues his farewell tour “La Última Vuelta” throughout Latin America with a huge success. This week, the tour positioned itself as one of the Top 3 highest-grossing tours in the world, according to Pollstar Live 75.
The farewell tour, which kicked off in Portland, Oregon on August 10, has been to more than 35 cities across the United States, Canada, and Latin America with each show being sold out. In only three shows, in the National Stadium of Santiago, Chile, more than 180 thousands fans attended, making Yankee’s tour one of the most successful tours on a global level.
Without a doubt, the urban music legend has demonstrated his immense talent in every show where he performs tracks from his latest album “Legendaddy”that are complemented by colorful and spectacular sets.
Accompanied by a full band and dancers with incredible looks, Yankee connects with his audience between songs, dances, euphoria, and his greatest hits where fans enjoy his musical repertoire from back in the day. These hits, which have solidified him as the “King of Reggaeton”, include: “Problema”, “Rompe”, “Machucando”, “Lo que pasó, pasó”, “Llamado de Emergencia”, “Despacito”, as well as performing hits from his farewell album “Leyendaddy”, “Rumbatón” and “Remix”, closing his show with the track that revolutionized the music industry and brought reggaeton to a global level, “Gasolina”.
Daddy Yankee is currently on his farewell tour that started in Portland, Oregon in the Moda Center arena on August 10. The five-month tour is included as one of the biggest headlining shows between rappers and songwriters in North and Latin America to date.
With a career spanning 32 years, and known as one the greatest exports of reggaeton genre, Daddy Yankee released his last studio album, “Legendaddy” back in March, which includes 19 tracks and collaborations with Bad Bunny, Pitbull, Natti Natasha, Becky G, Myke Towers, Rauw Alejandro, among others.
