Miami, FL. (April 12, 2022) – While his collaboration with Alejo and Feid on “Pantysito” continues to reap success, music’s newest rising star ROBI presents his new song “Robot”. The track highlights ROBI‘s melodic voice fusing it with rock sounds, creating a song with exquisite rhythms and musical styles. Released under Interscope Records, “Robot” is available on all digital music platforms.
The track was composed by ROBI, produced by AndoConJon and Flamez, and mastered by Mike Fuller. Through lyrics, the artist delivers a message about respecting yourself and your emotional well-being. “If you don’t need me then I’ll leave, because I see your indifference and how you love me is not right…Because I’m a human being, not a robot, I’m not under your control,” highlight some of its lyrics.
Filmed in Miami, FL and directed by SQUID & Jose Sagaro, the music video follows ROBI as he is in a hospital on the operating table battling between life and death. As he sleeps, he imagines performing the track alongside his rock band and includes a special appearance by guitarist Harold Trucco. The video ends with ROBI undergoing open heart surgery where you can see doctors inserting a golden metal heart into ROBI‘s body that begins to beat, turning the patient into a ‘robot’. The video is truly an audiovisual gem.
ROBI rose to stardom on TikTok when he joined his colleague and friend, Alejo, to share a fragment of the song “Pantysito” on the app, without ever imagining that it would become a viral hit. From there, he was discovered by Colombian artist Feid, with whom he collaborated to create a track that has set trends on Spotify in more than 10 Latin American countries, has peaked on digital charts in Colombia and Spain at No. 1 and recently entered Spotify’s Top 50 global chart.
“Pantysito” has earned over 45 million streams and views combined, and set trends in Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru , Dominican Republic and Uruguay.
