Nevarez team ventured into the sports entertainment realm and was tasked with creating a solid Hispanic-oriented PR strategy that would generate buzz and excitment for the highly anticipated Miguel Cotto vs. Canelo Alvarez Championship Fight to broadcast via HBO Pay-Per-View live from the Mandalay Events Center in Las Vegas, NV. We hosted four press conferences across four U.S. cities for national and international media, continued to generate key communications for impacts in Hispanic media leading into the fight and led Hispanic media outreach for the big event. Our team generated 3.8 Billion media impressions, equivalent to $37.6 Million in media value, with over 500 media placement in the U.S. and Puerto Rico and received over 150 Hispanic media requests for the fight.
