Miami, FL (October 23, 2026) – Global merengue icon Elvis Crespo lit up the stage at the Billboard Latin Music Awards alongside the “Sonero de la Juventud,” Víctor Manuelle, for a historic opening performance this past Thursday, October 22. The two artists joined forces for the world premiere of “La Gozadera en Navidad,” Víctor Manuelle’s new infectious track, marking his return with a song poised to once again take over the Christmas season in Puerto Rico.
Taking center stage to kick off the 33rd edition of the prestigious awards, the artists brought tropical energy from beginning to end. Further showcasing Puerto Rican pride on the international stage, the performance featured a special appearance by Puerto Rican plena group BLB, a batucada, eight musicians, and an energetic dance troupe, symbolically ushering in the world’s longest Christmas season: Puerto Rico’s.
