Miami, FL (October 8, 2026) – Lenny Tavárez releases the official music video for “PIKETE,” filmed at the iconic California church featured in Kill Bill. In the visual, Lenny and his wife, Natasha Nazario, explore a new side of their artistry as actors, starring in a story driven by dance, action, and a fully choreographed fight sequence. The church served as one of the locations in Quentin Tarantino’s film, starring Uma Thurman, David Carradine, Lucy Liu, Daryl Hannah, and Vivica A. Fox.
“PIKETE” was born in Lenny’s home studio during a songwriting session with Colombian songwriter Nabález, with the intention of creating an urban cumbia that preserved the essence of the genre while incorporating the structure, slang, and references of urban music, without losing Tavárez’s romantic and seductive character. King Swifft, who produced four tracks on 8, also took part in the creative process.
For the music video, Lenny takes the song into an entirely different universe. Filmed at The Sanctuary Adventist Church, the California church featured in Kill Bill, the visual finds Tavárez alongside his wife and professional dancer, Natasha Nazario, dressed in white and engaging in a fully choreographed fight sequence that blends dance, acting, and action. With a dynamic that evokes the tension and chemistry of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, movement becomes central to the narrative, playing between attraction and confrontation while revealing a side of Lenny as a performer that audiences may not have seen before.
The release continues to expand the universe of 8, an eight-track project that explores different dimensions of love while moving across reggaetón, salsa, and cumbia. As part of this new chapter, Tavárez brought “PA’ LO BONITO,” his salsa track produced by Sergio George, to Hard Rock Stadium during the Miami Dolphins’ home opener. The song reached No. 1 in Puerto Rico and No. 6 on Billboard’s Latin Rhythm Airplay chart in the United States.
With more than 12 billion career streams, Lenny Tavárez continues to expand his artistry beyond any single genre. With the “PIKETE” music video, that versatility extends beyond sound, revealing another dimension of his ability to bring together music, movement, acting, and visual storytelling.
