Miami, FL (August 7, 2026) – After becoming a social media phenomenon even before its official release, Gloria Trevi’s new single, “Pompas de Jabón,” premieres its highly anticipated official music video. Filmed in Miami under the direction of Pablo Croce, the production transforms a lively pool party into a vibrant celebration of life, capturing the joyful spirit that has helped the song resonate with thousands of fans.
The video opens with the singer-songwriter waking up in the morning, blowing bubbles and joining the celebration, where everyone, including Romeo, the director’s dog, is invited. Gloria Trevi is seen sending out invitations through the soap bubbles she releases across the city, attracting even a team of professional cheerleaders. Approximately 80 extras took part in the production, which Trevi described as one of the most enjoyable music videos she has filmed to date.
About “Pompas de Jabón,” the lead single from her new album, slated for release in early 2027, Gloria Trevi said: “This song came from that place we sometimes find ourselves in when we’re sad, working hard, carrying grief or sorrow, dealing with betrayal, or facing difficult responsibilities that are simply part of life. Then, suddenly, you reach a point where you realize that you’re incredibly happy simply because you’ve woken up, and that alone is more than enough reason to celebrate and start the day with joy and enthusiasm. The only thing we truly have is today, and we have to celebrate it.”
Regarding the sound of the single, Gloria Trevi said it is unlike anything else, drawing inspiration from the sound of a marching band. “I’m not following any musical trends. It has a very distinct beat that makes it incredibly danceable,” she said.
“Pompas de Jabón” was written by Gloria Trevi and produced by Eduardo Bladinieres and Gil Elguezabal. It is now available on all digital streaming platforms.
Even before its release, “Pompas de Jabón” was already taking over social media, with hundreds of TikTok users creating videos featuring the song’s infectious chorus. Personalities including Aaron Mercury, Abelito and Wendy Guevara also joined the social media trend.
